Call Senator Manchin
Tell him to stand with Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood is under attack like never before. The federal government is now in the hands of extremist lawmakers who have tried for years to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers and cut patients off from care.
As a key senator and potential bridge between political parties, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin plays a crucial role in advocating for the nearly 200,000 West Virginians who rely on Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act.
Without Medicaid, Planned Parenthood South Atlantic patients will be denied access to our service, which include life-saving cancer screenings, birth control, and STI and HIV testing and treatment.
Planned Parenthood South Atlantic serves over 1,000 patients in West Virginia, and has over 18,000 activists and supporters. We do not want to see West Virginian’s health care coverage attacked.
Tell Sen. Manchin you’re a part of the overwhelming majority that opposes defunding care at Planned Parenthood health centers. Tell him you’re ready to fight like hell to protect reproductive health and rights in West Virginia. Tell him you stand with Planned Parenthood and expect them to as well.
Letters, petitions and emails are important, but we know that calls have the largest impact and grab lawmakers’ attention.
Will you call Sen. Manchin now? Ask him to stand with West Virginians who rely on Planned Parenthood and our affordable health care services.
